The San Mateo thermal baths are located in a tourist complex located in the city of Moyobamba. It is an enclosure where the thermal waters from the subsoil are channeled and classified into various pools for bathing. You can find spaces with hot, warm and cold water and also some pipes with powerful jets. The ideal in this case is to make a circuit that allows you to experience the different temperatures. Its waters also have therapeutic properties and are especially good for arthritis, rheumatism, stress and muscle pain.

MOYOBAMBA HOT SPRING FULL DAY

We will pick you up from your hotel between 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. to leave the city towards Moyobamba. known as the City of Orchids. In this place, we will visit the orchid garden (collection of orchids) of the city, where the guide will take you through the facilities and give you more information about these flowers and you can buy or simply appreciate a variety of orchids. Then we will walk just 3 blocks until to get to the Artisan Coffee Center where we will learn all about the different types of coffee that this part of the San Martin region produces. After lunch, we will visit the San Mateo Hot Springs, where we will have enough time to make a circuit through the different pools of the place with water at different temperatures. Once the circuit is finished, we will take our vehicle to return to Tarapoto and end the tour, between 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm approx.
